Welcome to MAE Candle Company where we encourage you to enjoy life, light a candle, and recreate memories. 

Mae is so much more than a candle company, it is a way for you to enjoy life's greatest memories. 

Smell is one of the most powerful senses we have. It takes us back to when we were kids. Whether you remember the smell of Paris the first time you stepped off the plane. Or if you remember the smell of the coffee cake your grandmother would make you. Those smells will always bring you back to those moments of great joy. That is exactly what Mae strives to create with each candle; a way for you to recreate those memories you hold near and dear to your heart.

With that being said there is a package available for you to recreate your most fondest memories. It will be about a 2 - 3 week process, but we offer three samples and three different sizes in the scent you choose. If you choose to purchase a scent in memorial of someone or to remember a place there will be a special page to display your scent as well as the scents others have created. 

Where did the name "Mae" come from? 

Mae was my grandmother's middle name. I wanted to name the company in memorial of her. I really loved the name, but I didn't realize how perfect it was until later on. Mae should really be MAE because it stands for Milton and Ella. Which were the first names of the set of grandparents that passed away. 

Mae offers a masculine line named "Milton" and a feminine line named "Ella". So the name Mae really sunk in. It truly was the perfect name for the vision of the company. We really hope that you enjoy this new journey with us. Sit back and enjoy the process of life by lighting your favorite candle.
